Senior Account Manager, Marketing
Karen Lyles joined the Sales/Marketing department at Vectren Corporation in November 2010 and is responsible for new business growth and development of Boone, Carroll, Tippecanoe, Clinton, Montgomery, and White County. Prior to working for Vectren, the Gary, Indiana, native served as the Vice-President of Programs and Administration for the Center for Leadership Development.
Karen received her master’s degrees in Adult Education and Executive Development for Public Service from Ball State University.
Philanthropic activity is not only one of her pastimes but something that she holds true to her heart – Karen stays active in the community often volunteering her time on local boards and with organizations such as the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation, Susan G. Komen Breast Cancer Foundation Habitat for Humanity and Blessings in a Backpack.
Currently, she serves on the board of directors for the Terre Haute Economic Development Corporation and a committee member of the Women of Influence of the Wabash Valley. In the past she has served as Board Vice-President of the National Organization for the Professional Advancement of Black Chemist and Engineers, and as a Board Member of the Indiana Association of Black School Educators. Karen resides in Indianapolis, Indiana, with her husband, Clarence. They have two children, Clarence, IV and Peyton Rose.
